Q: What will you need from our IT?

The kiosk only needs internet: cable, Wi-Fi or an LTE SIM. It needs no access to your internal network, so it is safe for your internal systems. Connections to turnstiles or time and attendance we arrange with the supplier of that system.

Yes, with a paid 30-day trial for €499, with no hardware payment and no long contract. If it doesn't help, we take the kiosk away.

ExtHUB

It issues the card and lets them in

ExtHUB is a box next to the kiosk that holds the card dispensers, the label printer and the relay. It links check‑in with issuing the card, printing the label and opening a door or elevator.

What the kiosk does with ExtHUB

Cards based on access rights

Each dispenser issues a different card type, e.g. visitor, contractor, VIP.

Through the turnstile

With the turnstile connected through an API, the system lets through only people who have checked in and hold a valid induction.

Check‑out records

On the way out, the visitor drops the card into the collector and the system removes them from the list of people present.

ID card reader on the side of the kiosk

A separate HID reader mounted on the side of the kiosk, not part of ExtHUB. It scans ID cards and verifies the visitor's identity right at check‑in.

Label printing

After check‑in it prints a self‑adhesive label with the name and validity, so you can spot the visitor on site.

A card only after a signed induction

The kiosk issues a card only to those who have completed and signed the induction.

Which devices do you support?

The Zebra terminal, Zebra tablets indoors and outdoor Zebra terminals outdoors. Your own device needs Android 13 or later, a touchscreen, a camera, speakers and a microphone.

Do we have to buy the kiosk from you?

No. We are a Zebra Technologies ISV partner and are happy to sell and install kiosks with a stand, a printer and a card dispenser. But you can also run aReception on your own Android device, and the license price stays the same.
