The Challenge
Artifex, a Tier-1 automotive interiors supplier (previously part of IAC Group), runs an industrial plant in Lozorno with steady visitor traffic: suppliers, auditors, contractors and job candidates arriving throughout the day.
Every visitor needed a mandatory safety briefing with a signature, a printed badge and a notification to the right host. Doing this at a staffed desk was slow, inconsistent and expensive, and it pulled employees away from higher-value work.
The Solution
aReception.ai deployed a Zebra kiosk running the Linux-based aReception client at the main entrance, branded as Monika, connected to a badge printer and the plant's host directory. The same platform also runs on Android tablets, so check-in can scale to more entry points without new hardware.
Monika greets every visitor in their language, runs the mandatory safety briefing with a digital signature, prints a badge and notifies the host automatically. The whole experience runs without a single person stationed at the desk.
