Where aReception is stronger
A reminder before a certificate expires
Documents with an expiry date, such as a welder's certificate, are tracked for each contractor worker. Before one expires, the system reminds the contractor and the EHS manager.
An expired induction is taken again
You set the validity for each document. Whoever arrives with an expired induction takes it again at the kiosk.
A different induction for contractors and drivers
You set a different induction for visitors, contractors and drivers. When the site changes its risks, the system asks for a new confirmation.
Instructions in each contractor's language
The kiosk and invitations come in 50+ languages. You supply the induction content in the languages you need.
Date and time with every signed induction
For each induction, the system saves the date and time, who signed, the handwritten signature and the signed document.

Access control and turnstiles from one supplier
TSS Group supplies its own access control system, readers and turnstiles. aReception does not supply turnstiles; it connects to yours.
Cameras and entry by license plate in its own module
Softplus supplies the cameras, and its LPR module lets a vehicle in by its plate on the platform. aReception supplies no cameras; it connects to the ones you have.
Logistics connected to orders
The Logistic module imports orders from SAP or Transporeon. At the exit, it checks that the card and pallets came back.

What it means for your gatehouse
Risk acknowledgments ready for the audit
You find each company's signed risk acknowledgment in the Portal. Before an audit, nobody searches paper files and emails.
A muster list for evacuations
You have a list of everyone who passed the kiosk. Connected to access control, it includes employees too.
A record after an accident or inspection
The report shows who was on site, when, which safety induction they completed and their signature. It's available right away.
Less work at the gatehouse
At Stora Enso Ždírec, the gatehouse saves 12 hours of work a day. At your site, it depends on the number of trucks and visitors.

When to choose aReception
When you handle contractors, risk acknowledgment and site entry only after the induction at the gate of a manufacturing site. You already have an access control system and want to keep it: we connect to the one you use, if it has an API.
When you do not induct contractors at the gate and a digital visitor log is enough, switching will not pay off.

Switching and running alongside Softplus
Can we run aReception alongside the Softplus platform?
Yes. Softplus lists a documented REST API, and aReception connects to any access control system with an API. If you already use Softplus at the gate for attendance or parking, though, a second system will not pay off.
What if TSS Group supplied our turnstiles and readers?
We do not supply turnstiles or barriers; we connect to yours. Once connected, the turnstile lets through only those who completed the induction and signed.
What will switching cost?
Software for one kiosk starts at €499 a month, billed annually, on the Premium plan. The kiosk, accessories and one‑time setup are paid separately. We import your visitors and contractors from Softplus at no extra cost.
What if a contractor arrives with an expired induction?
The kiosk has them take the induction again before letting them through. You set the validity for each document.
Does the kiosk have to be on our network?
The kiosk only needs internet access, not access to your internal network. It connects by cable, Wi‑Fi or an LTE SIM.
Can we start with one gate?
Yes. You can start at one gate with a paid 30‑day trial that costs one month of the plan you will use, with no hardware payment. We roll out within 14 days of your order.
