Pevnost poznani is the science centre of Palacky University Olomouc, a busy popular-science venue where families, school groups and individual visitors arrive every day. Many of them reach the entrance unsure where to start: which exhibitions are open, what is on the programme and what fits the time and the age of the group.
Answering the same orientation questions over and over tied up the team at the desk, and at peak times queues built up exactly when visitors most wanted a quick, friendly pointer in the right direction.
The Solution
aReception.ai placed an AI receptionist right in the entrance of the centre. A lifelike avatar greets every visitor and answers questions about exhibitions, programmes and services by voice or touch, so people get their bearings in seconds without waiting for a staff member.
